Materials bear meanings beyond practicality and functionality. In architecture, they can serve as powerful tools for making political, social, cultural, and environmental statements. This portfolio encapsulates my transformative journey, illustrating the evolution of my understanding of materiality’s role in each project. Through this experience, I have learned that the design process can start with the material and return to it, creating a cyclical journey from inception to manifestation.

In this creative journey, I have experimented with a broad spectrum of material possibilities, from the enduring and permanent stone to the soft and ephemeral fabric. Each project within this portfolio showcases a unique exploration of materials and their intrinsic meanings.
In essence, this publication is not just a visual chronicle of creative experimentation but a personal research journey into how materials become meaningful and, therefore, shape meaningful spaces. Through these explorations, I aim to demonstrate the profound impact that thoughtful material choices can have on architecture and the spaces we inhabit.
